Food For Thought:
Can genocide also come about via supplantation? Can “Open Borders”, “Multiculturalism”, and “Diversity” be code words for the eradication of a culture, faith, or people?
I post this video simply as a means to advance the conversation.
Anti-abortion group releases videos of clinic workers discussing live births
An antiabortion group that mounted a six-month undercover investigation has released videos this week that raise questions about what might happen to a baby as a result of an unsuccessful abortion.
One video features a D.C. doctor, Cesare Santangelo, who said that in the unlikely event that an abortion resulted in a live birth, “we would not help it.” Santangelo was answering repeated questions from an undercover operative about what would happen, hypothetically, if she gave birth after an unsuccessful abortion.
Child Abducted by CPS after Parents Seek a Second Medical Opinion
A mother and father are incredibly grief-stricken following the abduction of their five-month-old son by police officers after merely requesting the child receive a second medical opinion.
Anna Nikolayev and her husband Alex took their son Sammy to the Sutter Memorial hospital in Sacramento to have his flu symptoms examined, but Anna became concerned with the care Sammy was receiving after a nurse failed to properly address why he was being given antibiotics.
“I asked her, for what is that? And she’s like, ‘I don’t know.’ I’m like, ‘you’re working as a nurse, and you don’t even know what to give to my baby for what,’” Anna told ABC affiliate News10. Anna later confirmed with a doctor that Sammy should not have been given antibiotics.
Multiple Polls: Americans Are More Afraid of the GOVERNMENT than TERRORISTS
WND reports today:
According to a pair of recent polls, for the first time since the 9/11 terrorist hijackings, Americans are more fearful their government will abuse constitutional liberties than fail to keep its citizens safe.
Even in the wake of the April 15 Boston Marathon bombing – in which a pair of Islamic radicals are accused of planting explosives that took the lives of 3 and wounded over 280 – the polls suggest Americans are hesitant to give up any further freedoms in exchange for increased “security.”
A Fox News survey polling a random national sample of 619 registered voters the day after the bombing found despite the tragic event, those interviewed responded very differently than following 9/11.
Police stake out hydroponics shops, harass customers who grow their own food
Apparently Americans who employ hydroponics are the newest targets in an insane “drug war” that has gone from bad to ludicrous since it was first “declared” in the early 1980s.
Consider this case in point: A couple of years ago, narcotics officers knocked on the door at the home of a man who had just purchased a seed starter kit from a local gardening shop. The police officers were demanding to know just what it was he was planning to grow.
“Tomatoes,” he told them, and the officers finally left – but only after they were convinced he was not growing marijuana.
FDA approves over-the-counter Plan B (“morning after pill”) for girls as young as 15
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration on Tuesday said it would allow the Plan B One-Step contraceptive to be sold without a prescription to girls as young as 15 years of age.
The announcement partially reverses a December 2011 decision that prevented the sale of the emergency contraceptive to all females of reproductive age, which was also overturned by a U.S. district judge in New York on April 5. The FDA said its approval was not related to the judge’s ruling.
Instead, the agency said it was responding to an amended marketing application from Teva Women’s Health Inc, a unit of Plan B maker Teva Pharmaceuticals Industries Ltd. Teva originally applied to sell Plan B to all females of reproductive age, but changed its latest bid to those 15 and older after 2011. The amended application was pending when Judge Edward Korman handed down his ruling, the FDA said.
Citizen Arrested at Suspicionless Checkpoint for Not Obeying Petty Commands
In Georgia, a citizen was arrested last month at an unconstitutional checkpoint for refusing to obey cops demanding he fully roll down his car window. The man was arrested for “obstructing justice,” in other words for not completely submitting to domination and submission procedures the state now requires as it wantonly violates the Fourth Amendment.
“I think in this instance the guy didn’t want to let the window down, didn’t want to talk to the officer and didn’t want to give him the information. So when you don’t give the information you can be charged with obstruction on a traffic stop,” Lt. Amelio Lamkin of the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office told WJBF in Augusta, Georgia.
Poll: 29% Think Armed Rebellion Might Soon Be Necessary
Three in 10 registered American voters believe an armed rebellion might be necessary in the next few years, according to the results of a staggering poll released Wednesday by Fairleigh Dickinson University’s PublicMind.
The survey, aimed at measuring public attitudes toward gun issues, found that 29 percent of Americans agree with the statement, “In the next few years, an armed revolution might be necessary in order to protect our liberties.” An additional five percent were unsure.
Eighteen percent of Democrats said an armed revolt “might be necessary,” as compared to 27 percent of independents and 44 percent of Republicans. Support levels were similar among males and females but higher among less educated voters.
Floridians Encouraged to Report Neighbors Who “Hate Government”
A new $1 million dollar program led by Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw aimed at “violence prevention” is encouraging Floridians to report their neighbors for making hateful comments about the government, a chilling reminder of how dissent is being characterized as an extremist threat.
“Bradshaw plans to use the extra $1 million to launch “prevention intervention” units featuring specially trained deputies, mental health professionals and caseworkers. The teams will respond to citizen phone calls to a 24-hour hotline with a knock on the door and a referral to services, if needed,” reports the Palm Beach Post.
Bradshaw makes it clear that the kind of behavior which could prompt a visit from the authorities includes anti-government political statements that may be deemed a prelude to violent action.
Americans Warned: Home Schoolers Stripped of Rights
Recently, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder has said that home schooling is not a parent’s right. It is a statement some are saying should frighten American parents.
Nations like Germany and Sweden show that when governments take away home schooling rights, it’s a slippery slope to no parental rights.
America the Refuge or Not
The Romeike family came to the United States from Germany five years ago hoping to find refuge. They wanted to home-school their children in freedom and a federal judge granted them asylum.
But now the Obama administration has been trying to deport them, arguing that home schooling is not a right. The case is currently before a federal appeals court.
Cop Allegedly Sexually Assaults Woman, Then Arrests Her For Protesting
Clark County taxpayers may have to pay settlement money to a sexual assault victim and the family court marshal accused of assaulting her.
The I-Team broke the story of a wide-ranging investigation into family court abuse last month. Marshal Ron Fox was fired for sexually assaulting a woman in court and arresting her when she spoke up about it.
The video the I-Team uncovered is spurring outrage with viewers and shaking up the court. But the marshal that internal affairs called a liar may still get a taxpayer funded payday. The I-Team uncovered video of marshal Ron Fox arresting Monica Contreras. She was in court for a protection order hearing.
Internal affairs documents reviewed by the I-Team conclude Fox took Contreras to a side room and inappropriately searched her. When Contreras told the hearing master, Fox arrested her for making a “false allegation against a police officer.” There is no Nevada law supporting the stated reason for that arrest.
Video can be seen here: 8 News Now
I am curious why no one seems to be making a big deal out of the fact that the “hearing master” (judge?) did NOTHING about it, turning her back on the situation like it wasn’t happening.
Police State Baby Snatchers: Baby Returned to Parents After Mix-Up Over ‘Neglect’
A Sacramento court has ruled for the return of a baby who had been forcefully taken from his parents by police and child protective services without a warrant on April 24, according to a Russian consulate spokesperson’s statement.
The five-month-old child had been temporarily taken from his family after his parents – a Californian couple – were involved in an argument with doctors over the course of his treatment following a medical check-up they took him to after he began exhibiting signs of flu.
Sammy Nikolaev has been in protective custody since April 24, when the police and Child Protective Services (CPS) had forced their way into the Nikolaevs’ California apartment after the family took the child from the hospital without proper discharge.
Act of Terror
While filming a routine stop and search of her boyfriend on the London Underground, Gemma suddenly found herself detained, handcuffed and threatened with arrest.
Act of Terror tells the story of her fight to bring the police to justice and prevent this happening to anyone else, ever again.
More Holes in the Fourth Amendment
Here they go again. The Obama administration has asked its allies in Congress to introduce legislation that would permit the feds to continue their march through the Fourth Amendment when it comes to obtaining private information about all of us.
The Fourth Amendment, which guarantees the right to be left alone, was written largely in response to legislation Parliament enacted in the colonial era that permitted British soldiers to write their own search warrants and then use those warrants as a legal basis to enter private homes. The ostensible purpose of doing that was to search through the colonists’ papers looking for stamps, which the Stamp Act required the colonists to affix to all documents in their possession. The laws that permitted the soldier-written search warrants and the Stamp Act were the British government’s fatal political mistakes, which arguably caused a major shift in colonial opinion toward secession from Britain 10 years before the bloody part of the Revolution began.
After the Founders won the Revolution, the framers wrote the Constitution in large measure to assure that the new government in America would not and could not do to Americans what the king had done to the colonists. Hence the Fourth Amendment’s requirement that only judges issue search warrants and only after the governmental agency seeking the warrants presents evidence under oath of probable cause of crime. Regrettably, that was weakened after 9/11 with the enactment of the Patriot Act.
Man Drinking Iced Tea In Parking Lot Gets Arrested – A can of tea can apparently land you in the can
As rapper Xstrav (Xstravagant), AKA Christopher Beatty, and his friend Tony Brown waited for their friend in the parking lot of the Cumberland County ABC Liquor Store in Fayetteville, North Carolina, an alleged plainclothes officer walked up to them demanding to know what Beatty was drinking.
Naturally, Beatty was taken aback by the seemingly normal man approaching him and asking to inspect his drink. He held the can at arm’s length, allowing the man, who merely identified himself as “police” verbally, to read the label, but refused to allow the strange man to hold (or sip) the drink.
The man, professing to be a police officer, next asks Beatty to leave the property for trespassing, even though Beatty explained he was there in the parking lot waiting to make a future purchase.
U.S. Government and NATO Worked with Bin Laden and His Top Lieutenant 3 Months AFTER 9/11
Former FBI translator Sibel Edmonds has been deemed credible by the Department of Justice’s Inspector General, several senators (free subscription required), and a coalition of prominent conservative and liberal groups.
The ACLU described Edmonds as:
The most gagged person in the history of the United States of America.
And famed Pentagon Papers whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg says that Edmonds possesses information “far more explosive than the Pentagon Papers”.
Edmonds translated terror-related communications for the FBI right after 9/11. In that capacity, she read communications between terrorists and other radicals.
Edmonds said last week that Bin Laden – and his number 2 Al Qaeda lieutenant – Ayman al-Zawahiri – worked with the U.S. government for 3 months after 9/11 to coordinate destablization in the Caucus region
Obama trying to take over public education with ‘common core’ curriculum that teaches socialism
Whenever he can, President Obama likes to poke fun at anyone who suggests that he’s a closet socialist because that’s what socialists do – they ridicule anyone who tries to “out” them. And yet, every policy he pursues takes a page right out of the socialist/Marxist playbook, and one of them is to ensure that the government controls all forms of education.
Right now, of course, there are thousands of private schools and institutions of higher learning in the U.S., so the government doesn’t control all education, per se. But left-wing career education bureaucrats in government, along with compliant socialists in the teachers unions, do indeed control the vast majority of primary public school education, and it is here where the Obama regime is consolidating its control through a Department of Education program known as Common Core State Standards .
Eric Holder Threatens Kansas in Letter on Gun Control Nullification Law
On Thursday, Kansas Governor Sam Brownback received a letter from Federal Attorney General Eric Holder threatening action against the state should it enforce SB102 which Brownback signed into law last month.
The new law states, in part:
Any act, law, treaty, order, rule or regulation of the government of the United States which violates the second amendment to the constitution of the United States is null, void and unenforceable in the state of Kansas
The bill also provides for criminal penalties against federal agents who attempt to enforce specific federal laws on guns manufactured in the state of Kansas and sold within the state – as the state takes the position under the new law that the federal government does not “interstate commerce” authority over such items.
In his letter, Holder didn’t take too kindly to such a proposition. He wrote:
“In purporting to override federal law and to criminalize the official acts of federal officers, SB102 directly conflicts with federal law and is therefore unconstitutional.”
He continued, “Under the Supremacy Clause…Kansas may not prevent federal employees and officials from carrying out their official responsibilities. And a state certainly may not criminalize the exercise of federal responsibilities. Because SB102 conflicts with federal firearms laws and regulations, federal law supercedes this new statute; all provisions of federal laws and their implementing regulations therefore continue to apply.”
DHS Seeks Millions More Rounds of Ammunition
The Department of Homeland Security has released a market survey asking companies if they are able to provide 2 million rounds of ammunition within a short time period, increasing concerns that the federal agency is continuing its arms build up in preparation for domestic unrest.
With the DHS already having committed to purchasing over 1.6 billion bullets over the course of the last year, a “request for information” on “reduced hazard training ammunition” posted on the FedBizOpps website quizzes bullet manufacturers on how fast they can supply large quantities of ammo
Stabbings, Stabbings, and More Stabbings – Why Haven’t We Heard From Obama?
President Barack Obama and his blind following of liberal progressives claim that we must have all of the restrictive gun control laws to prevent violent crime. Like most pathological liars, Obama tries to convince us that he believes in the Second Amendment and wants to defend it, but 100% of his actions say that he intends on destroying the Second Amendment and stripping us of our guns.
If Obama is truly committed to reducing violence and believes in restrictive legislation to control the weapons used, then he must take action to keep knives out of the hands of criminals and mentally deranged people. If he is consistent with what he keeps telling the American people, then he is required by his own policies to push for similar legislative action to prevent more violence from stabbings.
Court OKs Barring High IQs for Cops
A man whose bid to become a police officer was rejected after he scored too high on an intelligence test has lost an appeal in his federal lawsuit against the city.
The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New York upheld a lower court’s decision that the city did not discriminate against Robert Jordan because the same standards were applied to everyone who took the test.
“This kind of puts an official face on discrimination in America against people of a certain class,” Jordan said today from his Waterford home. “I maintain you have no more control over your basic intelligence than your eye color or your gender or anything else.”
Jordan, a 49-year-old college graduate, took the exam in 1996 and scored 33 points, the equivalent of an IQ of 125. But New London police interviewed only candidates who scored 20 to 27, on the theory that those who scored too high could get bored with police work and leave soon after undergoing costly training.
Most Cops Just Above Normal The average score nationally for police officers is 21 to 22, the equivalent of an IQ of 104, or just a little above average.
Jordan alleged his rejection from the police force was discrimination. He sued the city, saying his civil rights were violated because he was denied equal protection under the law.
But the U.S. District Court found that New London had “shown a rational basis for the policy.” In a ruling dated Aug. 23, the 2nd Circuit agreed. The court said the policy might be unwise but was a rational way to reduce job turnover.
Jordan has worked as a prison guard since he took the test.
